HFM Migration 11.1.2.4.200+ from Workspace

HFM migration in latest version we can do using LCM or using Import application also.

Utility will be in Workspace itself, we will get once we patch the system with 11.1.2.4.200+

Once we patch, we will get import application option in Consolidation Administration.

In Import application, we can give Source and Target details and start migration. Check out screen shot below:

We need to create Database links to create link between Test and Dev environment, like UDL file we create in previous versions.

Once we create Database links, we can see schema in Source HFM Database Name and in next tab we will get list HFM applications.

In next tabs, we will give destinations details like application, description, Cluster, User Management project etc. We have options here to select Import Audit Tables, Import Data Tables, Use Filter for Data.

If we planning to use filter to select particular data, we can select the above options.

once we are done with options selection, click on Import application on right top corner.

If you are not able to see import application tab or any other tabs, check out browser compatible with this version or not.
