Getting a Blank Page When Accessing Shared Services and Workspace via FireFox 8,9,10. [ID 1467507.1]

Symptoms
When accessing EPM Workspace or Shared Services in Mozilla FireFox 8,9,10 it brings up a blank page.

There are no errors, just a blank screen comes up with "done" message in the FireFox status bar in the bottom left corner.

Cause:

Remote XUL Manager Add-on is required for Logon screen to be accessed in Firefox 8,9 and 10 version.

This is documented in the Certification Matrix.

Solution

Follow these steps:
1. Install Remote XUL Manager 1.0.1 Add-on, available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remote-xul-manager/

2. In Mozilla FireFox Tools Menu, go to Web Developer -> Remote XUL Manager and add the EPM web server name.

3. Restart FireFox.
